Nepal holds a special place in my wife's and my heart(s) as we met in Kathmandu nearly 31 years ago ... the image chose well represents the beautiful mountain scenery of that fabulous country ... one only so recently tragically hit by severe flooding and catastrophic mud and rock slides in the foothills of the Himalayas (also the in Tibetan and Indian Himal). Namaste to all at BlankWall... also could you add an image of kathmandu to your international city collection please!
We purchased three framed A4 sized city prints - Ripon, Salisbury and London, to record the birthplaces of my children my wife and myself - all have provided a real splash of colour to our kitchen where we have displayed them as a trio, also they provide for a useful talking point to visiting family and friends. Prints /frames are of good quality and have well met expectations .... now if only BlankWall can create a city print for Kathmandu we can record where my wife and myself met! Also, whilst we like the image captured on the Ripon image, personally I think an image of the magnificent Ripon Cathdral would be be a better representtation of my birthplace!!
